I have a rich background in public relations, sports management, and philanthropy. Currently, I hold a prominent position at the esteemed Black Diamond PR & Sport Management Firm, LLC, where I oversee a wide array of communication and public affairs issues for clients across diverse industries, including public and private sector entities, celebrities, athletes, and figures within the entertainment industry.

My journey into the world of public relations and sports management began with a passion for communication and a desire to make a meaningful impact in both the professional and personal spheres. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in assembling and managing alliances to achieve communication and public affairs objectives, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor in the field.

My client portfolio includes a mix of high-profile individuals and organizations, ranging from celebrities and athletes to Fortune 500 companies, industry associations, and not-for-profit organizations. Through my involvement in various non-profit organizations, such as Youth for Empowerment and the Dallas 9/11 Memorial StairClimb, I’ve been able to channel my commitment to giving back to the community into tangible initiatives that make a difference.

Educationally, I’ve obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Management & Public Relations, as well as a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and I am completing my PhD in Sports Leadership. My academic achievements have been recognized through prestigious nominations and inductions into organizations like Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and Omicron Delta Kappa.

Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I’m deeply passionate about philanthropy, particularly in supporting initiatives such as Team Up Speak Up and The Concussion Legacy Foundation. Based in Texas, I’m proud to lead my firm’s operations both locally and globally, embodying a commitment to excellence in everything I do.

The motivation to establish my own agency stemmed from a desire to create a more ethical and client-centered approach to sports and entertainment management. I saw a need for a shift in the industry towards prioritizing integrity, transparency, and genuine care for clients’ well-being, rather than solely focusing on profits and transactions.

My goal to foster a more ethical sport climate inspired me to develop a unique method of sport and entertainment management protocol. At Black Diamond, we are committed to putting our clients first in all that we do. Our agency operates on a client-centered approach, where building and nurturing relationships is just as important as delivering results.

As a successful woman in the male-dominated sports industry, I’ve faced several hurdles throughout my career. Initially, gaining recognition and credibility in a field where women are underrepresented presented a challenge. Overcoming stereotypes and biases required me to consistently demonstrate my expertise, professionalism, and leadership abilities.

Additionally, navigating networks and building relationships in a predominantly male environment posed its challenges. I had to assert myself confidently, establish a strong professional network, and seek out mentors who supported my career growth.

I have also found that balancing work and personal life can be demanding, especially in an industry known for its demanding schedules and travel requirements. Setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and seeking support from colleagues and family have been essential in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
